Wood Campfires

Cape Lazo RV Park is located in the Town of Comox, which is very proactive in ensuring good air quality in the Comox Valley. We ask for your help in being responsible with fires. Only burn clean seasoned wood, no drift wood or construction materials. Fires cannot exceed 1m high and are not to be left unattended for any length of time. Fires must be fully extinguished with water by 11pm, not left smoldering. You must be 18 years or older to have a fire.

Wood Fires in Campsites: Permitted in each campsite May.15th – Sept.15th from 4pm-11pm ONLY.
*Not all sites have fire pits*

Wood Fires in Pavilion: Wood Fires are allowed in the Pavilion year round, Fire must be extinguished by 10:30pm.

Propane Firebowls: Propane Firebowls are allowed year round, even during a fire ban. Propane Fires must be turned off at 11pm, which is quiet time within the campground.

Seasoned Firewood is available for purchase from the office.
